How to Choose the Right Braid Length and Size

Two decisions shape almost everything about your install: how thick each braid is and how far down it falls.

Size

Smaller braids look finer and last longer, but take considerably more time to install and to remove. Jumbo braids are quick and bold but heavier per braid.

Length

Mid-back is the most comfortable everyday choice. Waist-length and beyond looks dramatic but adds real weight, especially in summer.

If your hair is fine

Medium size, shoulder to mid-back length, knotless. This combination puts the least strain on your roots.
