Thank you for booking with Violette Braiding Hair. Here is everything you need before your appointment in North Austin.

Your appointment

Time: The exact date and time are on your Booksy confirmation email and text.
Where: Violette Braiding Hair, 9725 N. Interstate Hwy 35, Austin, TX 78753
Parking: There is free parking at the salon on N. Interstate Hwy 35, so you can park right where you are braided — no meters, no time limit during your appointment.
Need to change it?: Reschedule on Booksy or call 512-906-6881. We are open every day from 9:00 am until late.

Before you come in

A little prep at home means a faster, more comfortable appointment and a neater finish.

Come with clean, dry, stretched hair
Wash and deep condition a day or two before, blow-dry or band your hair to stretch it, and skip heavy grease on the scalp. If you would rather we do it, add a wash service when you book.
Detangle before you arrive
Work through knots section by section with a wide-tooth comb. It saves real time in the chair and keeps your appointment on schedule.
Bring your own hair if you have it
If you have already bought braiding hair in a specific colour or brand, bring it with you. Call 512-906-6881 beforehand if you are unsure how many packs your style needs.
Plan for the sit
Longer braided styles can run several hours. Bring headphones, a charger, a drink and a snack, and wear a top that pulls off over your head easily rather than one you have to lift past finished braids.
Bring the little ones prepared
For children's appointments, a tablet, a favourite snack and a bathroom stop before we start make the whole thing smoother for everyone.
